PTPAAI Membership Guidelines
I. Qualification
As an alumni association, the primary requisite to join the PTPAAI is to graduate from the Paralegal Training Program. You must have been awarded a PTP Certificate of Completion by the UP Law Center.
II. Application & Renewal
Step 1. Pay the annual membership fee of Php. 1,000.00.
- Bank Name: Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
- Account Name: Paralegal Training Program Alumni Association, Inc.
- Account Number: 3891009576
Step 2. Prepare proof of payment and soft copy of 1×1 ID picture (white background).
Step 3. Fill out the PTPAAI Membership Application & Renewal Form.
- Option 1: Downloadable Form – Download PTPAAI Membership Application & Renewal Form.docx. Fill it out completely, then save it as a PDF file with the filename “Surname – PTPAAI Membership Application & Renewal Form”. Send the PDF file, together with your proof of payment and 1×1 ID picture to membership@ptpaai.org.
- Option 2: Online Form – Fill out the PTPAAI Membership Application & Renewal Form (Google Forms).
Step 4. Wait for the confirmation e-mail from the Membership Committee, which contains details about membership ID issuance and further instructions.
III. Membership Benefits
This simple cost-benefit analysis only includes the immediate tangible benefits. Intangible benefits such as the potential registration without examination as a licensed paralegal by being an active PTPAAI member upon passage of our proposed professional regulatory bill and future continuing professional development programs were not included. The figures were also not converted into present value for ease of understanding.

From the analysis, we can clearly see that the PTPAAI membership benefit-cost ratio is 3.96, which means that PTPAAI membership will deliver a positive net value to the members. A member can expect ₱3.96 in benefits for each ₱1.00 of costs.
